Joint ventures, PFI & PPP Projects

The team has a strong track record in the delivery of complex joint ventures, including PFI’s. More recently this experience has been used to assist in resolving contractual disputes, assisting in amending payment mechanisms, driving savings and ensuring contracts are run efficiently.

Housing and Health

There is a drive to bring health and housing a lot closer together. There are proven benefits to the health service of getting the housing provision right, and particularly in relation to older people’s housing. We have been involved in a number of innovative joint schemes, and can assist in brokering new arrangements.

SPV Management

We can bring a commercial edge to the SPV management role. Experience has shown that as projects progress there is a tendency to lose the rigour of the discipline needed to manage these complex projects. Our engagements provide commercial strong SPV management to our clients.

We have experienced project managers who can assist in any complex project.

Intervention

We can step in to help failing projects. We advised on the renegotiation of a care project in the North West to get it back on track, and are involved in a couple of other schemes that require a resolution. In addition we have stepped in to resolve funding headroom and carried out reviews of governance arrangements for complex projects.
